Sines has the only leisure port between Setúbal and the Algarve, making it an important port of call for leisure boats following national or international routes along the Portuguese coast. Managed by the Port Authority of Sines, the recreation port has capacity for 230 vessels and is protected by a seawall that is approximately 600 metres long. Sines Recreation Port offers a wide range of services. It is equipped with a launching ramp and a moveable crane for winching boats on to land. Services available include electricity, water and fuel supplies, laundry, bathing and toilet facilities and solid and liquid waste removal.
