Coat of arms: Red and golden checked shield, which consists of three vertical stripes and five horizontal bars. The red bars have two silver lines running through them. There is a silver castle outlined in black. It is open and situated against a red background; the central tower bears the red cross of the Ordem de Santiago. The castle is situated on a sea of  six undulating  stripes, three of them green, alternating with three silver stripes.  There is a silver mural crown composed of five towers. The white banner with the word “Sines” written in black, is at the base of the shield. 

Flag: Eight white and red squares. Silver and red cord and tassles. Golden lance and flagpole.

Seal: In compliance with the law, bearing the words “Sines Municipal Council”

OTHER SYMBOLS

Logo: It was designed in 1999 by the Sines Municipal Council Department of Design. It is used for tourism and the promotion of events.
