The Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone (ZILS - Zona de Indústria e Logística de Sines) is an extensive industrial site, covering more than 2,000 hectares, for the installation of companies. It is located on Portugal’s Atlantic coast, 90 minutes by road from Lisbon and its international airport, heading south. Situated next to a deepwater port, benefiting from good transport accesses and equipped with high-quality basic infrastructures, it serves as a platform for sea, road, rail and air transport in Portuguese territory.

The main heavy industries operating in the municipality are located in the Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone.
The ZILS also runs a business centre with 6,000 square metres of office space, for individual or collective use.
